1. What cookies are
Cookies are small files stored on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies, such as local browser storage and pixels, can also store or read information on your device.
2. How we use cookies
Train with Jane uses cookies and similar technologies for three main purposes:
- to make the website work properly;
- to remember your cookie preference;
- to understand how people use the website, but only after you accept analytics cookies.
3. Essential storage
Essential storage is used where needed for the website to work or to remember your privacy choice. For example, we store your cookie choice in your browser so the banner does not appear on every page.
This is considered necessary for the cookie preference service you have requested, so it does not require optional analytics consent.
4. Analytics cookies
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the website, such as which pages are visited and which services people are most interested in. Google Analytics only loads after you accept analytics cookies.
| Tool | Purpose | Examples |
|---|---|---|
| Google Analytics 4 | Website measurement, page usage, traffic sources and general performance insights. | _ga, _ga_*, _gid |
5. Meta Pixel and marketing cookies
The website is set up to use Meta Pixel if a Meta Pixel ID is configured. This helps us understand whether Facebook or Instagram advertising is useful and helps show relevant adverts. Meta Pixel only loads after you accept optional analytics and marketing cookies.
If enabled, the pixel tracks general page views and simple standard events such as contact-form success and Stripe checkout button clicks. We do not send form fields, health details or PAR-Q information to Meta through this pixel.
| Tool | Purpose | Examples |
|---|---|---|
| Meta Pixel, if enabled | Advertising measurement, conversion tracking and audience insights for Facebook and Instagram activity. | _fbp, _fbc |
6. Third-party websites
Some links on this website take you to third-party services, such as Stripe for payments, Instagram, Facebook or other external websites. Those services may use their own cookies and privacy settings. Their cookie use is controlled by them, not Train with Jane.
7. How to manage your preference
You can accept or decline optional cookies using the cookie banner. If you want to change your choice later, use the “Cookie settings” button in the footer.
You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings. If you block all cookies, some website features may not work as expected.
8. Contact
