You'll talk before you train

I'll want to know what you're hoping to change, what you've tried before, what your week looks like and whether anything feels uncomfortable or off-limits.

This doesn't need to be a dramatic life story. It just helps the training fit your body, your confidence and your schedule.

If you're nervous, say that too. It helps me set the pace properly and explain things in a way that feels useful, not overwhelming.

Technique comes before intensity

Your first session will usually include basic movement patterns, clear coaching and a few options so I can see what feels right.

The goal isn't to make you exhausted. It's to understand your starting point and help you leave knowing what to practise next.

That might mean slowing an exercise down, changing the range of movement or choosing a different variation completely. Good coaching should meet you where you are on the day.

You'll leave with a direction

Some women need a short block of 1-to-1 support. Some are ready for class. Some do best with online coaching because their week is too full for regular in-person training.

A good first session should make that next step clearer, not pressure you into a package you don't need.

You should leave with a sense of what to do next and why it makes sense, even if that next step is simply booking one more session.
